How to Check Your Website’s SEO (Free, No Tools Needed)
SEO sounds technical, but for a local business it comes down to a handful of things you can check yourself in five minutes. Here is the list.
The five-minute self-check
Open your site and ask: does the page title say what you are and where (“Café in Dublin”, not “Home”)? Does it load fast on a phone? Are your address, phone and hours real text (not baked into an image)? Does it still read with JavaScript turned off? Those four cover most of local SEO.
Structured data and reviews
Search engines and AI assistants rely on LocalBusiness structured data (a hidden snippet describing your business) and fresh Google reviews. If your page has neither, you are invisible in the “near me” results and AI answers where customers now look first.
Or have it scored for you
Every site blasa builds ships crawlable HTML, structured data, a sitemap and an llms.txt — and comes with an SEO & AI-search score and the keywords you rank for, no tools required. Want a site that passes this checklist automatically? Start free and see your score.
